Tips On keeping Your Love/Romance Alive
I'm a guest editor for this issue.
I thought with the New Year beginning I'd focus on keeping/maintaining love and romance in your relationship.
Remember when it felt like love at first sight, everything was good, everything about your partner was just right!??
You began dating, seeing each other more and more, one thing led to the next. It was perfect; it was magical!
So you became a twosome. Happily together, the days, weeks, months--perhaps even the years have passed.
Then things changed, it became stale or has started going downhill. One, or both of you start to wonder what happened to the magic, the thrill, the excitement??? It happens, life happens.
Here are some tips to rekindle and keep the love/romance burning.
Be sure and remind your partners how much you appreciate their good qualities.
Invest time in your partnership by having fun together. Have a date night as often as you can.
Let your partner know how lucky you feel to be with them. Provide an abundance of appreciation.
Do things on a weekly basis that makes your partner feel nurtured
Share who you are!
Explore each other's soul.
Get Physical~~Get intimate.
Does this tie in with writing and your characters in the love/romance genre?
Yes, it does/or can anyway! Look again and see the possibilities that you could use for your plots and your characters. Any of the above points could be a trait that your character has that would make him/her unique and loving!
Valentine's Day is around the corner.
