Perhaps a new love interest has blossomed recently. You look forward to the warmth in the air and the longer days to energize you. The imagination runs wild with possibilities.
Suppose you are without a love partner right now? Do you look toward spring as just another season, or do you shift gears and become the motivating force to find the love you so yearned for all winter?
It is especially difficult to deal with meeting new people to date if you've been out of the dating scene for a while. When my long years of marriage came to an end, I had no idea how or where to meet a man that I could be interested in getting to know better. I also had my last born, a teenager, at home making it difficult to introduce a new man into our lives. Nevertheless, where there's a will there's a way!
So, I did what so many of us decided to do; take the high road, (actually the easy road) hold your chin up and just forget about ever having a love-life again. Talk about giving up on yourself, eh?
I threw all of my passion into writing, which made WDC so crucial at that difficult time of being without a husband. Then, somewhere down the road, I took a good look at myself and said, "girl you've got to take control of your mind, body and spirit. If you don't like yourself very much, nobody else is going to bother to fill in the missing pieces."
I started walking each day, with a new determination. I would lose some weight, tone the body and try new things in life. Well it's as if all of that is automatically tied into attracting a love interest like a magnet, because, although he couldn't see me just by writing, the man who would be my soul-mate would pursue me to get my attention, after I sent him (a Newbie at the time) an awardicon for a beautiful poem. You already know how that story ended from my last R/L Newsletter.
I was quite happy that I had prepared myself for a new life long before we actually met in person. I was no longer the left-over former wife of another man, I was my own person. Isn't it amazing that the women are always made to feel like the rejects when a marriage fails? Guys just feel free to start over with their new life.
So, folks, if you are feeling bitterness over the end of a marriage or broken relationship, don't! Take all of that negative energy and turn it into working to make a positive you. Go ahead, purchase one sexy black dress and look into the mirror and imagine the places it could take you. Buy a pair of high heels and start practicing wearing them around the house. You remember how attractive they can make legs look, from years ago; you know, before marriage and children had you in sweats and gym shoes on a daily basis.
Take this transformation one positive step at a time. You will love the new you. There's a collateral benefit to this; you will be noticed and attract attention. Perhaps that one special man will feel your sheer confidence as a woman who deserves to be loved properly.
Say good bye to bad marriages and relationships in 2011, folks. You deserve the new you for the new spring. Read, write and live your own romance novel. You can do it!
Until next time--Love yourself enough to improve yourself so you can experience falling in love again, in this new, excitingly free time of your life.

You spoke of "soul mates" in your newsie. It touched a chord as I too believe that not only do true soul mates exist, but transcend mortality... perhaps an eternal union enjoined by a divine golden thread that reverberates with each beat of a celestial heart. There's no feeling like it.
That is simply beautiful, and I must agree with you. Thank you for being my very first responder to my very first Romance/Love, Newsletter editing. I hope you enjoyed your Merit Badge, for such a quick and heartfelt response.

what should someone who has never experienced love do? yes i won't lie i'm talking about myself.
You probably have experienced love, although you yourself were not involved at the time with another person. You have loved ones around you. Perhaps there is a particular couple you admire and hope for a love to be just like that for you one day. The key thing is to take that subjective feeling from that couple you admire and write down those feelings. This is how you wish your love story to grow if you were involved.
You've got an idea about the kind of love you'd like to have and you express it the way you wish it to end.
Also, do not give up on love. It may not be happening at this moment, but it will happen when the moment is right for you!
Thank you so much for your feedback. I look forward to your first love story or sonnet!

WW, all of us, from the deepest of meadows, from the tallest of the high places - always thrive on your written word! Here it is no different, with all those reflections that so many can grasp ... but fewer indeed experience. There was much in the way of being humbled in previous years that God took notice of - and resolved to send you someone - that would bring 'joy inseparable' into the everyday of your romantic, responsive Muse. In like manner, He also had more work to assign, and that gentleman you mention too - also inherited directly from Heaven ... a soulmate. The ties that bind, like a helping of haiku, takes heartstrings two ... and the angel within strikes out upon a journey into the unknown that can leave both breathless, enlightened and sad to see the day end. A greater fortune is never to be found in this world than this....
You've brought tears to my eyes! You are blessed in understanding the true meaning of love from above. It is a connection that cannot be broken because it is bonded by a hand so Divine!
Thanks for your feedback!

Since there isn't a LGBT newsletter, I was wondering if gay m/m, or f/f stories are allowed if the theme is love/romance? I have a story that I want to submit, but the main characters are m/m.
There is no restriction on the Romance/Love Newsletter's content, other than it falls within the proper rating for a 13+ rated newsletter. Although 18+ items can be highlighted, If the title and brief description are Non-E, it cannot be highlighted in the 13+newsletter. Also, it would not be shown to the general public, but only to those who have set their content choices to above 18+. So you can see why it would also be impractical to highlight in the Newsletter, itself.
Thus, if it falls within the ratings and it is within the Newsletter's genre, it can be submitted for consideration. If an editor likes it, it may be highlighted.
I hope this helps to answer your question. Thank you for your feedback.
