About This Newsletter

Hello my name is Lonewolf Author Icon I thought I would talk about a mother's love in this week's newsletter in light of Mother's Day a day I spent with my mother celebrating the wonderful job she has done, raising my siblings and myself.

Letter from the editor

During my twenty-nine years on this earth soon to me thirty on July 8th I have been witness to many variations of mothers and have only come close to finding one who is cut from the same cloth as my own and that wonderful woman would be the mother of my significant other.

The similarities between the two are astounding, both have led hard lives doing anything and everything for their children. They raised us all to have respect for our elders and people in general not to mention always giving us a shoulder to cry on when we needed someone to talk to when no one else was there. We could always count on our mothers.

My mom the amazing woman that she is did a lot of the impossible while raising four children by herself. She gave all she could when she could, and would be not only mom but dad as well. She has taught me so much about various things from carpentry to culinary arts. I even started writing because of my mother, she would tell such intriguing stories for entertainment to put me to sleep and those stories goaded me into creating my own worlds filled with adventures and stories all their own.

Yes, I love my mother very much, she has told me stories of her childhood that has made me weep at times and from those difficulties she chose to raise us differently making sure to give us respect and keeping open the lines of communication so there were no secrets making it possible to come to her with anything no matter what it was we were going through, and throughout the years I have heard from all my friends say how they wished my mom were theirs, and that alone made me appreciate just how fortunate I am to have her as my mother.

Love, tenderness, care, integrity, and respect are all the things my mother taught me all while passing on a hunger for knowledge, strength, and intelligence. I may not have had all the things I wanted while I was a child, but my mom made sure I had all the things I needed and for that I cannot tell her how much I appreciate all she has done, and sacrificed for the sake of being an amazing mother.

To all the mothers around WdC if you are a new mother, or with a child on the way, or if you are a grandmother. I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking up the challenge of being a mother and wish you all the best for those late night up worrying or just checking back and forth to make sure the life you are helping shape to become a leading force in the future. Happy Mother's Day to you all.
