About This Newsletter

Something mysterious is lurking out there ... just beyond the edges of your peripheral vision. What is it? Did that shadow move? Is that cigarette smoke I smell? Whose footsteps are following me everywhere I go? Eyes dart every which way, trying to catch a glimpse of the danger that lurks ... out there.

Such are the panicked feelings and thoughts of the victim in a mystery story...

Letter from the editor

Well, the Writing.com Convention for 2005 has ended, but many of us are still caught up in the mystery of the 2005 Port Raid. You see, a whole big bunch of those of us left behind got together, under chyna_doll's guidance and raided the ports of those who went to the convention. That is what they get for leaving their ports unattended...lots of public reviews *Smile*

The port raid has just ended as I write this newsletter, but it still remains to be seen which individual pirates and ships will win prizes of booty galore for their hard work and diligence in raiding ports all weekend. Will a mystery judge step up and award a merit badge for a review he or she received? Will a convention parrot like a certain review and cough up some gift points for it's worth?

Can a mystery story be written about the convention pirating that went on this past weekend? Why don't we think about it and see what we can come up with? It could prove to be additional fun, and might lead to me plundering your idea and showcasing it here in my next newsletter. Send any stories that you write on this topic to me as a comment on this newsletter, and I'll get your piece posted herein next month.

Till then, this is InkyShadows Author IconMail Icon signing off!
