Romantic Tip of the Day : Here's a idea that can leave an impression on your sweetie! Write a simple note and hide it where they will find it unexpectedly. For example, stick a post-it on your television remote which reads "turn me on instead."

This is interesting. Here is a story told from both points of view.
This story is in progress, but it's still worth checking out.
Here's an example why Pastiche is one of my favorite authors.
Sometimes your mind doesn't agree with your heart.
This tugged at my heart strings.

Some reader responses from the Romance Movie Showdown survey question: What is your favorite romantic movie scene of all time?
Sarah Rae : My favorite scene was between Queen Anne and D'Artagnan in "The Man in the Iron Mask" after Anne believes Phillipe has died. D'Artagnan is drawn to Anne when she is distraught, and after years of hiding their romance, they get temporarily caught up in the moment. *wipes a tear away* It's true love.
Nadia inactive : The Beautiful Mind when he received the Noble and dedicated it to his wife.
StrungoutOnABender : The final scene of How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, where Ben chases Andy on the bike in the cab to tell her he forgives her and wants to be with her.
Amanda : Jerry MaGuire: Jerry: "I love you. You complete me." Darcy: "Shut up. Just shut up. You had me at Hello."
kittiara: My favorite romantic movie scene happens in a rather unknown film called Pump up the Volume. The kissing scene between Christian and the poet girl, as they meet on their way to school. It comes across as so very endearing, shy and real.
Natsplatt thanks RAOK!! : Sense and Sensibility, right at the very end when Edward comes to visit the family, not realising that they don't know he didn't marry Lucy. The awkwardness as they all talk on cross purposes followed by the ecstasy on Elinor's face when he kneels in front of her to propose, there really is nothing sweeter, I cry every time!
crwrocks: In A Cinderella Story, when Austin Ames asks Sam if she believes in love at first sight.
JessB, Architect. : "A Walk to Remember," when Landon gets his mother to teach him how to dance so he can dance with Jamie, and later, proposes to her.
mood indigo : "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" scene from "The Lion King"--the music really complements the evolution of Simba and Nala's relationship.
daisybug: "City of Angels" with Meg/Nic. He has just shown up at her cabin as a human and they make love for the first time. He is feeling her & trying to describe what he feels, cause he's never felt these things before. It makes me cry everytime.
layladylay : In Bridget Jones's Diary she runs down the snowy street after Darcy in her underwear and he wraps his coat around her and they kiss. Doesn't sound much, but the kiss is amazing!
GG very happy : I love the final scene of "An Affair to Remember", when he finally realises why she couldn't meet him on the arranged day, I almost cry every time.
amanuensis to the muse : 10 Things I Hate About You with Julia Stiles reading her poem to the class. I loved it.
amaiyaamir : Ghost when Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze were making the pottery or ceramic cup.
RelenaSeale : Untamed Heart. When Adam and Caroline are on the porch and he thinks that if he has a heart transplant he won't love her anymore.
kellee : Never Been Kissed: When josie is standing on the pitcher's mound and mr. cool comes running out to her and kisses...and then everything around them disappears.
sweetnss06 : "Labyrinth", after Sarah eats the peach and starts hallucinating that she's the girl in her music box dancing with Jareth while he sings that song to her. Maybe it's just because I'm completely in love with David Bowie
Scottiegazelle : The Princess Bride: The best scene would have to be when Buttercup shoves the Dread Pirate Roberts down the hill, hissing "And you can die too for all I care." Then poor Wesley cries out "As...you...wish" and she gasps "Oh my poor Wesley, what have I done?" and tumbles down behind him ("ow, ooh, eee"). I've seen that movie a few times too many.
Tiffany : Dirty Dancing when Patrick Swazye comes in and says. "Nobody puts baby in the corner."
Angie : The Last of the Mohicans: The scene when they are in the cavern behind the waterfall and he tells her to do whatever the indians tell her to do to ensure her survival and he tells her that he will come for her... he will find her. No matter what, he will find her. They are wet and his hands are holding her face. He kisses her.
Dr Taher writes again! : Titanic: It has to be the hero and heroine on the prow of the ship and looking out over the ocean, with the heroine snuggling against the hero and the hero stretching out his arms.
Walkinbird 3 Jan 1892 : Empire Strikes Back: Han Solo and Princess Leia discussing his scoundrel pedigree, followed by their kiss.
Isiliel : "Sweet November" where Keanu Reeves brings Christmas presents on Thanks Giving Day to his dying girlfriend.
Trisha : Ever After when Henry is about to put the shoe on Danielle and says: "I kneel before you not as a prince, but as a man in love." Tears every time.
John~Ashen : In Some Kind of Wonderful, Eric Stoltz practiced his kiss on his best friend Mary Stuart Masterson. She ended it suddenly because, although it was a dream-come-true, he didn't know she had a crush on him.
AmyIsabella--almost better! : In First Knight when Gwenevere and Lancelot are under the trees trying to get a drink.
I'd like to thank those of you that have participated in the Romance Movie Showdown! It's been very interesting to see what your choices were for your favorite romance scene.
Until Next Time,
