Do You Review Request?
A little introduction to the "Review Requests" capability on this site. It's pretty awesome!

I realized that my last newsletter mentioned requesting a review, but didn't really detail how to set it up so you could receive requests, too! To fix this little issue, I have decided to give you an entire newsletter dedicated to Review Requests.

A fairly new-ish addition to the site is the ability to make Review Requests of people who have made themselves... "available", so to speak, for such things. I, personally, love the concept! It allows people to pull away from forums, and such, and really find people that they would like to review their work. Instead of wondering whether they will get a review, they know, because the person receiving the request accepts or rejects it.

If you want to set yourself up to be visible to those looking for reviewers, it's pretty easy.

Set up Review Requests

1. Click on the Reviews tab within your own portfolio.

2. Choose Manage Reviews at the top. From here, you can turn on your Review Requests, upload a picture, and fill out a little survey telling others some things about you.

3. Submit it, and then you're done with that part!

If you want to request reviews from those willing to review, it's pretty easy, too!

Request Reviews

You can do this two ways!

*Bullet* One way is by going to a person's profile, and clicking on their Review tab to see if they accept requests.

*Bullet* If you would like a little more random sort of system, check out the "Things To Do & Read" link on the left sidebar. Under that bar, there is a link that says, "Request a Review." Navigating to this page will give you a random list of those who have their Review Requests set to "on". Look through what the reviewers have to say, and pick one to your liking. *Smile*

Have fun with the Review Request system!
