Letter from the editor

I have always been at odds as to what to write in these Newsletters and this month is no exception. I am all dried up. The writers block has sunk right down to the bottomless pit and I find that I am getting angry with myself.
This hot, stifling weekend I was going away camping with friends at a folk festival, but as I don't drive and there is no other way of getting to the camp site I have stayed at home instead.

Looking out of the window at the cloudless sky, the beautiful sunshine and the birds flying here and there I wish now that I had found a way.

Anyway this weekend my mother and I are looking after my sister's dog and Meg is quite a handful. This afternoon we took both dogs (we also have a dog callled pumpkin) out for a lovely walk all over the countryside.
Everything was fine until Meg decided to chase a cat.
You may think that this is nothing unusual but poor Meg was the victim as she came skimpering back with a cut eat that was bleeding badly.

Luckily for us it was only a short walk back to the house, but it took a while to settle both dogs down.
They are now fast asleep out in the conservatory. You can now say that they are 'hot dogs.' How they can sit out there in all this heat I really don't know, as for myself I have stripped down to my shorts and a little sun top.

Writing this Newsletter was the last thing I want to do but here I am typing away, my little fingers dashing away across the keyboard typing mindless little things to fill in the time.

Another two weeks and I will be on holiday cruising my way towards Norway. My mother and I have never cruised before so we are both looking forward to going. Maybe when I come back and the Autumn starts to arrive I will feel more like myself with that writers block completely gone and a headful of creative ideas to make my portfolio that much more bigger and better.

Thank you for reading this NL and I shall look forward to the next one.

This NL has come to you from Janemarie 3 years on WDC (47)
