First Dates And Dating Discussion
I asked you to answer some of my questions and here are your wonderful and interesting answers:
How was your first date?

Hehehe, thanks for sharing your cute first date story.  My first date was a trip to the city in his old beat-up truck. He drove down a one-way street the wrong way, visited his health insurer (he had a broken arm at the time), and generally I followed him around on his errands. Is it any wonder it only lasted 6 weeks???  Gee, what was I thinking?!? (Incidentally, he was the best man at my first wedding  ).

Dating at twelve? My parents wouldn't let me date till I was 16! I'm 17 now and have the grand total of one boyfriend in that time. We dated for five months when we spilt because he was getting on my nerves and he only took me on two dates in that time. Two!!! He only like to party every weekend with his friends and leave me wherever I was. It was nice to have someone to talk to and all, but sometimes I think boys are more trouble then they're worth. I think I was allowed to go at twelve because I was chaparoned and they did the driving to and from the movies - in the afternoon, no less 
Do you live in a country where dating is different than the US?

Consider this a preliminary comment. In India, dating is only now coming to the forefront. Mainstream dailies now have a "seeking" column. On the other hand, this writer has seen that almost 80% of marriages are done by the priests between men and women who never met before that moment. In traditional houses, it is the parents who "arrange" matches after checking the "genes" (of both), the "income" (of the groom) and the "character" (of the bride). The bride and groom-to-be are not parties to the entire fore-play (pardon the expression); if at all, they may get to see "the" photograph (of their spouse-to-be in all their finery) on the basis of which the marriage is being approved.
You might say: How unromantic! But that's the way it is. And don't forget this: HOROSCOPES MUST MATCH, or the match is off!
