Romance Poetry: The Morning Song
It’s February and regardless of whether or not you give in to the commercialism or not (I joyously do), February is all about romance. In honor of this I selected a genre form based on setting. I found the names of two French poetry forms and a German one that fit this setting. Traditionally this is a love poem about the parting of lovers.
Alba/Aubade/Tagelied
French: Alba/Aubade - about 900 years old.
Tagelied: German.

Comment: I think I like taking it as it comes for myself but have to Judge according to the form of poetry when reviewing in contests. I get stuck in research at times.
