GPs and Trinkets and... What? Oh my!

With "Trinket Fever" going strong, you might be wondering how you can get some GPs to make your own without purchasing.

So! Trinkets have taken over Writing.Com this last week! Everyone is collecting, creating, and having a blast. They're free to collect, but pricey to make, and so some are finding they don't have enough GPs to make as many as they want. Especially our newer members who also want to make sure they have their Upgrades paid for. So, here are some great ways you can earn some GPs so you, too, can make a trinket or ten.

Top Ways to Earn Free GPs on Writing.Com

1. Log In Every Day: No really, check your Gift Point Log. It's not a whole lot, but you do get Gift Points every day you log in. Neato, right? The SMs want you here every day, so they reward you just for showing up! Can't complain about that!

2. Scroll Games: October is a great month to check out that "Messenger" link on the left sidebar, because Ghosties love to drop random games into scroll that you can play for GPs. Down times when lots of scrollies aren't playing are a great time to snatch wins and free Gift Points. Plus, you can meet some great new friends that love to hang around and keep you procrastinating from doing the things you should be doing. I have been guilty this week!

3. Review: Dropping into other people's ports and reviewing their work gives you GPs. Every person you review for the first time gives you GPs, and if you do multiple reviews, you get an additional GP reward at the end of the day! See "Daily Review RewardsOpen in new Window. for further information on the Daily Review Rewards. Not only that, if people see and love your reviews, you could get rewarded straight from the Reviewing page as long as you make your reviews public. How cool is that! Fair warning, though, don't just spam reviews to get these GPs - you'll lose the privilege of earning the rewards. Take the time to do them right.

4. Daily or Short Term Contests: You never know if you can win a contest if you don't enter. There are several daily or short term contests out there that are fun to enter.

Happy Trink-or-Treating this October!

Here's a couple you can snag, but you probably have to go find them. They're all unlimited, so if you don't have them yet you still have a chance. Good luck! (If you haven't done this yet, here's a hint. Click it, if you can't collect it here, the person who created it is linked on the bottom. Go to their port, check their notebook first, then check their items. It'll be somewhere!)
