Dear Friend,

Greetings!

No one is perfect, maybe the only one that is perfect are those whose names are Perfecto or Perfecta *Laugh* well that is an old Filipino joke and when you are in the Comedy Genre the mistake or gaffe can be a perfect way to tickle your bones and just have a good laugh. In the main sense, we all commit mistakes.

But we can turn our mistakes or gaffes to be a beautiful rose that will give us good scents because sometimes our gaffes can be our stepping stones to reach success, this is where we can improve ourselves.

Mistakes or Gaffes have two different angles of perception, the positive and in the negative perception and these two different angles will depend on how we can see or perceive them. We can turn our gaffe to be the thorn that will pull us down or an inspiration that may help to push us upward towards success.

Mistakes or Gaffes that I am referring here are those unintentional mistakes or remarks that we don't intend to do but it often protrudes maybe because of our clumsiness or its a part of the situation.

But, don't punish yourself my friend for that act of gaffes, you can stand and turn them to become a sweet icing topping. *Smile*

Have you observe that some movie, especially comedy genre, they used their blunder or bloopers to entertain the audience, some used it as part of the story.

I remember one of the candidates in the Ms. Philippines pageant backward years, when our candidate happened to have a gaffe while she was having ramp in the stage, she off balance herself and fell down, but though she committed that gaffe, she strongly stand and confidently smiled to the audience and continue to give wonderful poise, and in that gaffe the judges noticed her beauty and gave her a placed in that pageant.

My often experiences in having a gaffe are when I off-balance myself too while walking, or when I was having an ice cream break and the cream fell into my clothes. Well just like Ms. Philippines I immediately stand up, have a composure to myself, smile and just continue walking like nothing happens. *Bigsmile*

Gaffes are a part of our everyday life, it's an ingredient that seizes up our life. Having a gaffe will develop ourselves to become strong, and when we already practice having good attitudes in accepting our gaffes because its a part of our being uniqueness, we can simply stand up and smile, and just laugh on it. *Smile*

I wonder if you also have some unforgettable gaffes or bloopers?
Why not write it here and share.

Write On! *Heart*
Samberine Sig.

I wish I had read this when I was a 'newbie'. Now I'm a 'toddler', that awkward stage between 6 months and an 'oldbie'. *Bigsmile* ~ Lilli 🧿 ☕

Thanks for reading and commenting Lilli 🧿 ☕, or in other words you are a tadbie. *Smile*

Hi! hope you are doing well. You have taken my words what exactly I think. English is also second language for me but I face difficulty in speaking can you help me that how should I speak English in public (among friends and colleagues) also I am scared because people make fun when person don't speak properly and there was a time when I felt embarrassment of not speaking properly because unfortunately, my own surrounding is not having any person(close people surrounding me) who can talk with me in English so that I can gain confidence in speaking but when I am out of home in university or other place I lack confidence in speaking. That trigger me to write I do mistakes in writing also but I manage it by making it correct because here I know no one will make fun. So I really need your help regarding speaking, writing and also request from me to read my blogs and poem so that you can easily get to know what I am trying to say. ~ komall

Thank you komall *Smile*
I also have that struggles before- being too shy in speaking and writing in the English language, but I've learned here in WDC that when we use a certain thing every day just like the English language, we can familiarize, grow and develop a confidence in using it. I don't say that I already used perfect English in my writings or speaking, but just like I've said when its already a part of our every day, it made us use comfortably and have confidence in using it. Mostly WDC members are kind and they don't laugh at our mistakes as ESL(English Second Language) instead they will give a helping hand and teach with honesty and sincerity.
Okay, I will check your blogs. Regards! *Smile*
