Letter from the editor

Hi everyone! I'm your newest Action/Adventure editor!*Smile*

For those who don't know me, I'll introduce myself.
I live in southern Oklahoma after spending most of my life in Texas. I've been here for nearly eight years.
I imagine one could say I've had action and adventure in my life.

I have panic attacks and bipolar I, so that in itself is an adventure every day! I go back to visit friends in Texas when I can. There has been major construction on I-35 and that is always adventure. Adventure, you see, is where you choose to find it.

Action? I live in Tornado Alley. Can't get more action packed than that! I was a storm spotter last season, but I hung up my rain suit. A bit too much action for me. I wasn't overly fond of sitting in my little car on a hill with straight line winds blowing 70MPH and no visibility.
I volunteer with the police department and have the privelege to ride with officers. Action? Sometimes. But believe me when I say the slow shifts often outweigh the constant calls.

Action and adventure is often what we make of it. Did I mention my main adventure with this first newsletter? billwilcox did last week's newsletter. Now that's a tough act to follow!*Laugh*

Till next month,
Nikola
