Dear participants and hosts of contests and activities, I am NaNoNette and I will be your guest editor for this issue.
There is a song that says that December hosts the "most wonderful time of the year." I disagree. Because that time in December is only a few days long. Yes, it's fun. And fattening.
But summer ...
Summer gets us to poke our heads up from our screens and spend time outdoors. Hopefully. Because if you don't, you're missing out.
The beauty of summer is that it lasts at least several weeks in the colder parts and several months in the warmer parts. That means that this wonderful time goes so much longer.
With all that frolicking in fresh air, where will our writing be?
In our heads. I notebooks. In scribbles on napkins. No matter how you do it, find ways to bottle up your creative ideas and put them to paper. Writing.Com offers many contest that will provide you with a prompt to mull over while you enjoy summer. Make good use of them. Contests only work when there are contestants.
