The Medieval Palace Oct 19 2024 at 4:30am EDT Throne Room within Cradle Tower - it was built for Edward III as a private watergate to his own lodgings. A fine 14th century stone vault survives inside. The upper storey was rebuilt in 1868-9 by Anthony Salvin.
