Anyone viewing this carton of eggs may be interested to know that these were placed under 2 of our "clucky" hens some weeks ago. Tomorrow, Tuesday the 24th of February, they are due to hatch. Sadly, however, there are only 6 left. It seems that 2 hatchers have been too heavy, or perhaps they only did what nature indicated and ate the eggs that were no good.
Who knows?
We just hope that some still hatch. I'll keep this updated, perhaps in its own blog entry.
