Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum

This is the site of the April 19, 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. These chairs represent each person who was killed as a result of this horrific action. The smaller chairs are for the children who were killed that day.

This park setting is the Outdoor Symbolic Museum, just south of the actual museum,. The east and west ends of the park frame the area, which is the former site of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Each gate is inscribed with "We come here to remember Those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity."

This is a must see activity if you visit Oklahoma City.
