I am currently working as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with a Phlebotomist Certification full time at a diagnostic imaging facility. I have put in over 25 years as working as a CNA since September 12, 2001 either as full time, part time, as of now working as PRN. I got an email where's I needed to start working on renewing my certification online. I am now getting older 43 years old back swollen, arthritis in left knee, and a little irritable with the work environment. You hear others say CNA is the worst kind of job to have. I found it rewarding in the aspect I built bonding relationships with so many co- workers and have found memories of the patients. However sometimes the leadership is guided wrong let alone the way certain facilities don't supply medical supplies or staff. I actually worked in one that was so bad that now if I ever heard a neighbor, friend, or someone that I may know was working there I would let them know immediately that it would not be the best place to work. However years do pass and maybe there is healing mentally and reminders I tell myself to be there encouraging for the well being and safety of everyone. That is it about being a good caretaker. It's been over six months since I stepped back into a nursing home. Also I notice that body parts are more sore with certain movements. Hard part of the renewing certifications here in Texas I have to submit online form and also a signed form to be notarized and uploaded on computer as a PDF file before submitting it to Texas Department of Aging Disability. Part of me wants to do it because I enjoyed being that I laughed had fun with some of the residents and the co-workers. The other half not completely sure. Please note yes or no I should go back. For all members that participate taking the poll I will give 250 gift points. Thank you dropping in rather reviewing, taking the poll, or just doing both. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Should I continue my CNA recertification? Please answer either yes or no. |
