poem about need |
| The context or explaination for this poem is in my journal under entry #8. It's a very touchy subject for me but one I feel I need to share Why is the grass so much greener? I want to need you. I want to know you, really know you. I want you to know that I savor your conversations. I want you to know the few words that you offer, stir my soul and make it leap within me. I want you to know that I dream of you constantly, even though I shouldn't. I want you to know I find you deep, full of thoughts I want to cover myself in. I want your sensitivity and tenderness lavished upon me. I want to feel the quiet passion that draws me to closer to you. I want you to know that I want you...to be thrilled by the prospect. I want to be close to you, to breathe in the smell that makes you -- you. I want to feel the sparkling tension, the heat of skin hovering next to skin, when you kiss me for the first time. I want what I can not have. |
