My Best Friend

Was it luck or was it fate,
when I met you on that night so late?

I never knew you would be my best friend
there for me no matter what until the very end.

We have shared good times and bad
had our spats, but never stayed mad.

You have always been there for me
and without you who knows what kind of a person I'd be.

You have had a huge impact on my life
to lose you would be like getting stabbed by a knife.

We will always be together that is no mistake
