A poem about a man being used by a woman
Discarded, cast aside, thrown away

Or stashed somewhere for a rainy day

Brought out only to serve a purpose

To fill a need

With no regard to the person who is me

Your little toy with which to play

At your beck and call

The damage you do every day

Matters not to you at all

You view me as an object

A thing to be used

When you are done I am put back away

No matter how beaten or bruised

What you call love I call pain

And I see now that from you I have nothing to gain

Except heartache and hurt and tears

And it has been that way for many years

No longer will I sit, no longer will I stay

As of now your little dog has ran away

You have caused to much grief

And today I finally get some relief

You have used me for the last time

And I promise you will pay for your crimes

In a few years, you will look back on this day

And the tears will fall when you realize what you gave away

Justice will be served, in the end

And though it will take some time, my heart will mend

But I place this curse upon you now

You will never forget my sorrow
