This is a fun girlie poem about pink diamonds & digging thru grim to find lifes treausres! |
Candy Coated Star A pink diamond is like a pink candy coated star, It’s my savoring that it has captured. The deep smog and dirt suffocate me as I dig deeper for more treasures, While digging my nails become filled with dirt and rock, as each finger pushes the boulders and pebbles to the side, My eyes squint and scurry for more gleams of candy smothered by dirt and grim, I can taste the satisfaction of finding my next pink rock. The anticipation of glory chips at each inch of my heart as though it were bursting each vain and vessel. Jennifer Lopez received one as a token of her lover’s love, in enchanted Hollywood. The smog was not that deep. Despite my excitement I was able to inhale and could break through the smog. My ice will be the nicest rock on da’ block. I will blind all those that look at my dainty fingers, because the stones will be that bright. Diamonds are forever. The mans value of admiration is miniscule to the value of the rare jewel. The stone will make my finger as bright as the nights sky. I will vanish into the heavens and reappear as the ocean’s waves on a sweet, simplistic, romantic island. Lexi will stun the trendsetters. Tomorrow the stone will be mine and the world will beg me for its presence, for materials define status in America. The world will be small in magnitude and the jewel will be mammoth in comparison. I will have to hide from the stares and the glares that I will be offered. Adoro las joyas bonitas de la rosa, As the ground opens it’s dirt and grimed doors, I will steal from its heart and sell all that it has prepared. Smog leaving my search and candy coated jewels smothering my hands. |
