Words can hurt people; I wish people watch what they say.
Death to the Dreamer
March 20, 2007

Crucify my salvation.
Destroy what I have,
and what I still to gain.
How many times a day,
do I hear your verse?
Fire burns up the air,
as we die of carbon monoxide.
Your breath stinks,
the ground you walk on.
The path lay out;
we bow dignity away.
Your eyes sears at my brain,
and I wonder if your knew,
the hatred I feel.
My look of distaste,
and do you notice?
You don’t care of what to come,
you say what you want.
You don’t care of others,
and what they think.
The ground stands unjust,
and I think it’s burning.
As hell scorn the earth,
I still stand wondering.
What has happen to the world?
Trash littler the ground,
and people talk smack.
My heart and head tears,
at the thought of these things.
The trees sway lonely,
as they are barricaded.
The walls of concrete arose,
from my demons,
and they protect me.
And then I still wonder.
It can’t be helped, no matter.
But I still desperately wish,
just because it’s wrong.
Your words shouldn’t hurt,
and I shouldn’t listen.
But I do and it’s all I care.

Youth bloom and blossom,
on weeping willow trees.
The petals spiral towards,
the center of the earth.
The scorch of feather leaves,
fall like shooting stars,
and set the ground ablaze.
We grasp what we need,
and forget of what is there.
Once we step, we don’t return.
The humor is the sarcastic serenade.
By Lord, I wish of nothing.
My criticism with the critique eye.
Sit down my friend, and watch.
Watch as the world you knew,
pass you by and learn,
the vital mistake made.
You can sit there forever,
and no one will know.
You can continue to watch,
and the ice will still freeze.
Notice the disgust and the glares.
Notice their voices and their tone.
And then tell me what is going on.
Tell me of what is happening.
Why are we hating life?
Why are we hating people?
Do you not know that that boy,
you sneered at the other day,
is just sitting behind you?
Do you not know that that girl,
you tripped on the bus,
is just standing besides you?
Do you not know of these things?
Or did you knew too much.
And at their expense, you laugh,
and you mock, you tease.
You break a million hearts.
Just because you are afraid.
To fall with the rest of the world.
To burn with the rest of the flowers.
