Why is it that the only person that sees is crazy
Just because no one else is looking hard enough to see
Doesn't make the site any less there.

Maybe the question isn't why they get deemed crazy
Maybe it's why isn't anyone else looking
Or maybe the question to be asked is...
Why is there only one person sinking in the quicksand
Under the weight of the world?

Why is the only one doing
The only one getting blamed
For what doesn't get done?

Why are the ones with talent
Not yet discovered
The ones left to cry at night
As they lay under the covers?

Anyone ever wonder how your world stays afloat
Cause there's someone beneath it holding it close
But the world getting heavy from all the bad
& harder to hold cause this person is sad.

Why doesn't anyone help them
Couldn't you see that something was wrong
What would happen if this person were suddenly gone
Would you know, would you see
That they were no longer there

Crushed beneath the weight of YOUR world
Because you didn't care
