let it yearn

too much blood on these hands, too much grime in these fingernails
if it weren't for the night we shared, you'd think we were enemies
faltered minds brought together with smameless atrocities
forever will end and we'll be left with braindead imaginings

too many times have left and gone with no progression in sight
no hope, yet for many, its about not giving up without a fight
you can try, you can pry, you can live and lie with nothing in sight
and if you died you can say you gave it your all tonight

confusement and bewildered people can't reap what we sow
thousands of years have lead to us not knowing how to know
when i wash my hands i feel you drift farther into the maniacal snow
freezing and breeding more ignorance that takes away from the normal flow

so, with what's been said time and time again, whats been layed on the line
it's now your turn to turn the tide to bring the war, take your turn one more time
never again can someone say you've been to nice, no guts, quit being so kind
the lights are turned down low, the brightness is now illuminating from your mind

with a swift swing of solitude and a magnificent slaying of words
you can stand by yourself with noone left to take their impetent turns
high on the mountain alone but with valor and dignities, it begins to burn
