a short account of a dream that ends horribly.
Crazy

One day I found a black hole. It looked fairly normal, as normal as a black hole could be I suppose. It was dark and black, as black holes usually are. I tried to step pver the black hole, but it moved underneath my feet. As I fell through the tunnel I wondered and thought, aboiut the world, and things going on in it. Everything that troubled me flushed through my mind. I fell onto a dirt road with a hard thud. After brushing myself off I realize a mumbling old lady walking towards me, but as I began to speak to her she disappeared. Her body turned to small droplets of liquid and fell up to the clouds and sky instead of falling to the ground. This place, though unusual, comforted me. I waslked along the dirt road, with no knowledge of my location or where i was going, but i felt guided, by an unknown force.
While walking, I glanced around me, and realized the color had been drained from my surroundings. There was only a monochrome tint, like an antique photograph. My shirt, once an enticing green, was now just another shade of mud. The dirt road trailed off, like an unfinished thought, ending slowly to nothing. Little by little I got closer to a cliff. I stepped closer, and a few rocks fell from the cliff’s edge. As they fell, wings sprouted from the rock surface and they flew away. I wished I could fly away. I jumped the ledge  hoping to feel the feathery texture of wings against my back, sprouting from my body to take hold of my fears. But I only fell like a heavy weight. There was no one to help me, I was just falling. Fear thrust into my body, stripping me of my security. Suddenly I stopped falling, I had landed on a soft cushion. A cloud lay below me, my only defense from plummeting to the ground. When i tried to stand up my body was bound to the sticky cushion. I struggled to let myself free and the material finally tore. It opend up and thrust me toward the ground. As I hit the surface, I glanced at my surroundings. I was once more on a dirt path, but this one was different. It was not ragged nor worn like the others. I stepped upon the path and it slid under my feet, moving me with it. I waited as it took me to my desination. A spark of curiosity ran through my head and I suddenly became excited. I wondered where the road was taking me and what I would see there. All at once the path haulted to a stop, thrusting me forward onto another path. This one did not move as I stood upon it nad againit was worn and ragged. I looked up at the sun shimmering behind a tree, it was a beautiful green color. I continued to walk down the path and came to a black hole. I jumped in the hole, wishing it would take me home. I found myself lying in a bed. The sheets were a sterile whiet color and the room smelled of bleach.I glanced up to see the hole slowly disappearing. I screamed. I didn’t know where I was or how i had come to be there. When I tried to speak, no words came out just jumbled speech slurred by medication. Some time later, I figured about two days, my mother came to see me. I tried to speak and she just sat beside me and cried. She told me how they had found me. I was laying face-down on the cement, laughing hystericaly and no one knew what happened. The only thing I had said since they found me was something about a hole and a green sun. My eyelids flittered but i could tell she thought i was crazy. Everyone had thought I was crazy. Thats why i’m in here. Thats why I can’t speak. Because the more i talk the crazier I sound. All beuse of the black hole. I curse that black hole. It ruined my life. My own mother questions my sanity when everythign i saw felt so real. But was it only a dream? It seems to leave this place I have to admit it
