HOW COME PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID?

There are a hundred reasons to be very cautious about the hype over global warming. We are already seeing results of the panic as government leaders throw money at politically popular ideas to HELP the environment.

Many of the concepts that get headlines are stupid ideas when you look at the real cost to the environment. HERE is one: "Replace Middle East Oil Dependency With Ethanol". Stupid idea. But it gets points on several political fronts. Stupid enviro-nazis think this is going to reduce carbon emissions.

Stupid politicians know this will get them more votes in the midwest where the corn prices are going through the roof. Stupid vegetarians are happy because cropland shifting to subsidized corn and ethanol decreases supply of other animal feed crops - raising the cost of meat to the meat-eating population. The cost of corn-flakes also goes up, dummies.

The cost of milk too - because grain for milk cows costs more as well. Who advised President Bush on this stupid policy? I know - somebody from Iowa. The whole stupid idea will crash in five years probably becuase by then the stupid people who came up with the idea and who made their money on the front end will be out of the market and stupid environmentalists will push for no more ethanol subsidies. The ethanol BOOM in the grain states will be the sound of imploding ethanol production plants and bank accounts.

The farmer crisis from Jimmy Carter's mismanagement of world affairs will look like a cake walk. How come people are so stupid? Wake up - global warming is due to a sun cycle. Fossil fuels produce less CO2 than the biomass of dying insects every year.

As stupid as France is - at least THEY understand the value of feeding their electrical grid with nuclear power. MORE on how stupid the USA is about nuclear power in the next chapter. Now - go study some economics or something useful about how markets work. Don't BE SO STUPID!
