My Dearest love, I am sorry to say this but I must go.
The night sky carried a dark haze. The air was thick and damp. The horse slowed to a steady pace as Jennie pulled the rains. She looked up at the sky and wish for the man she loved to be there with her. As she starred at her hand, she remembered the times they had and how much fun she had with him. He made her laugh so hard she cried. She loved his smile and his personality. How he always knew the right words to say and when to say them. She knew everything about him. He knew everything about her. She remembers how he would come home from work late and show up with a dozens daisy's and some fast food and apologize for missing dinner. That night she remembers the most was tacos but it wasn't at home he had her meet him on the roof. When she got there he had a blanket and candles and music. He told her to come and sit. They sat and talked for some time but the only part she can still remember is that when he told her, "When ever you miss me Jennie I want you to do one thing." Jennie asked what it was. So he told her; "I just want you to look up at the stars and smile." Jennie looked puzzled, "remember that when your looking up at those stars I am looking at them also and that means we are looking at them together which means we will never be to far away from each other. I love you Jennie and I hope you know that I will never let you down, or break your heart." She just smiled and kissed him and whispered, "I know. I love you to Michael." As they lay there she fell asleep in his arms. So he carried her inside and laid her on the bed, when back up to clean up and then disappeared. That was the last time she saw him. The next morning she woke up and found a note on the table. It read;

"My Dearest love,
I am sorry to say this but I must go. I have some unfinished business that I need to take care of. I wish I could have told you all about it but it was something that I had to deal with first. I hope you remember what I told you on the rooftop last night, and remember that I will be back and I will find you no matter how long it takes. I love you Jennie and I will make you my wife, I promise. I know I should be there to do this but go to the livening room and you will find a present. Once you open it you will understand. I am sorry to leave without telling you where I will be or how to get a hold of me but remember I will find you, I can promise you that. I love you, goodbye!

My sincerest apologies,
Michael"

She laid the note down and walked into the livening room to find a ring sitting on the glass table. Inside the box it said look outside at the street. She walked over to the window and looked down and on a wall it read, "Will you marry me!" Her answer was clear when she put the ring on her finger.

The ring she wore was a constant remembered of how much he loved her. How much he meant. She believed his words. She knew he would find her. As she turned her attention to the road again she saw a dark figure waiting in front of her. She pulled to slow down some more. With a puzzled look she called out, "who is it; who's there?" A voice come back saying "the stars are beautiful tonight; wish I could watch them with the woman I love." She thought her ears where deceiving her, she thought that she heard the voice of the man she's been waiting for. It's been almost 2 years but the voice was so true that she was over whelmed with emotion. "I was once told that if I waited and looked at the stars that I would never be alone. I've waited 2 years and I've looked at the stars every night." She said strongly. The dark figure responded, "Well who ever told you that was a very lucky man, to have a woman like you, waiting around for a guy to come back. He must be some guy." She replied, "He is the only man for me, there is no other that could compare to the love I have for him." As she got closer and closer the man became more and more visible. For a second there she not only thought her ears where deceiving her but also her eyes. The dark figure spoke again, "I am sorry that you had to wait so long for someone to come back, but do you remember what I told you, that no matter what I would find you and make it up to you. Well I have found you and here is how I will make it up to you. Follow me around the corner."

As Jennie dismounted her horse, she felt a rush of emotion taking over. She didn't know what to expect. It had been so long she didn't know if she could ever love him after just leaving like that. But she couldn't just let it go; she had to figure it out. So she followed the strange person around the corner. Ahead a bright light came on and she saw everyone she knew. Her family, friends, coworkers, they sat on one side. The other she could never forget. As she followed the line of people up to the front she found a man with his back turned towards her. He was wearing a Tuxedo. She smiled a little bit until she felt someone take her arm. As she turned to see who it was, she remember the gentle embrace, she knew who it was. In a small whisper she said, "Daddy?" The reply was something she longed for, "his sweet heart. Do you think you're ready?" Her eyes filled with tears, she turned and gave him a loving hug. "I love you daddy!" "I love you to Jennifer, Now are you ready?" tears rolled down his face as he walked his baby girl to the man in the Tuxedo. When they arrived, she turned to her dad and kissed him on the cheek. Then she turned to face the mysterious man. As he turned to face her, a priest showed up and asked her, "Do you take this man to be your husband, To have and to hold, in better or worst, In sickness and in health, till death do you part?" She didn't wait to see his face; she knew his touch like she had felt it just the morning. "I Do!" As the priest turned to the mysterious man her asked him the same thing, but before the priest could finish the man had already said "I do!" "With that said and the power invested in my by the state of Wyoming I know pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride!" Finally she got to see his face, but she knew that it was Michael no matter what. Without hesitation she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him like she had never kissed before. Everyone in there seats stood up and clapped. Some of them whipped tears from there eyes and others couldn't help but smile. She lends back and he whispered "I told you I would find you and make it up to you one day." She cried and kissed him again.
