It's all Hallows Eve

It's All Hallows Eve
lets begin with a fright
as the undead creatures
move through the night

close all your windows
and lock up your doors
a werwolf is prowling
along the dark moors

Screams of horror
fill the night air
as ghosties and ghoulies
circle the fair

but why have they come here?
what do they seek?
the answer, the question,
a trick or a treat?

They move through the town
striking fear as they go
then start to retreat
to their home down below

The night draws to end
and the creatures retire
The moon's light has gone
The food they require.

It's quiet and calm
and all is serene
so until next year
