A poem that talks about how that only after death, you can have life, life in heaven. |
As I wander through the tunnel that is Life, I wonder, I think, I question. The tunnel is a dark abyss, No way out, all hope gone. The tunnel feeds on us all; It steals our will to live. The tunnel is strong, But I am stronger, I will not give up. I will survive, I will survive. The darkness closes in, I run, I flee. The darkness is a mighty river; It’s trying to carry me away. The current is fast, But I am faster, I will not give up. I am smarter than the tunnel; It pushes me forward, but I go back. I have my hope and it guides me. The current slows, knowing that I cannot be beat. I slow to a walk; thinking that I have won. The current speeds up; it knocks me down, it carries me away. Life is smart, But I am smarter, I will not give up. The current carries me Through the tunnel, Past the darkness, Into the light. The light is death; all who enter it never return. I am going faster, faster, never stopping; The light nears, I have fears, I feel the tears, I’m through, it is light. Many come to greet me. This is not death, yet Life with peace. The tunnel tried to destroy me, But I am whole, I did not give up. |
