America has seriously become on of the laziest countries! I'm very much including myself in this, as well. It kinda makes me sick though. Case in point, I'll give you an example (not that anyone really needs one; but for that one reader who's in denial, here ya go). My boss sent me to McDonald's to get lunch for both of us today. It was around 12:15, so I did expect it to be busy. When I got there, the line for both of the drive thru's (this McDonald's has one of those nifty 'duel drive thru's', so you can choose between two lines, which also doesn't help our laziness factor, anyway...) was packed out to the main road. Therefore, I parked, and walked in. When I walked through the doors, there were maybe two people eatting in the dinning area, and one person at the food counter. That meant I was able to order and get my food right away! Awesome for me, but sad and pathetic for everyone else that was waiting in the drive thru lines. How horrible is it when we don't even want to take the extra 5 minutes to park, and walk in, when in reality, you can get your food faster! That's sick! I also saw a Hummer in one of the lines! Now, if I still drove that car after gas went over $1.00 a gallon (which I wouldn't), I would've definately parked. It's just really funny to me how everybody's trying to make everybody else 'go green' and 'think healthy', when they are clearly so losing! Yeah, okay, McDonald's is making salads now, and selling water (Woo-Hoo), but even they guy who's seen Super-Size Me knows that the salads have as many calories as the burgers. And the burgers taste better. There's more, and I will continue another night. Right now, I have been propositioned to watch TV, and keeping up with my laziness theme, I'm THERE!!!
