I was raped. This is how I feel.
Stolen Kisses
By Savanna Ewing

My dreams are haunted by stolen kisses.
My thoughts plagued by his presence.
My body is not my own anymore, it's been taken by force.
Simple things like tickling,
now keys to a gate that leads to my torment.

Every breath I take is shorter,
suddenly courage I once had is gone.
I am broken, torn and used.
Guilt and shame are my new friends.
They ride on my very soul.
the word no, had no effect.
No meant yes to him at least.

screams and tears, are my fears company.
My waken sight is chilled by depressions icy gaze.
My hair is uncombed, my skin and without it's charm
Make up and I have not spoken in sometime.
A dress and me are strangers in the dark.
What once was is no more, and what will be is uncertain.

Nightfall is when it's scariest of all.
The hour it was done is unholy to me.
Monday is not just a day of the week
it's now a marker for the day innocence was lost.
Days seam to last longer and nights endless.
My terror is there, no matter what I do I can not erase his face, his words and his evil deed is my immortal.

He moves on, I linger and waist away
or At least this is how I feel.....
Yes I was raped and nothing will ever change that.
