Chapter 1 of Kuribasu(c) Wind Demon

KURIBASU = WIND DEMON

Chapter 1 - Discovery

One warm, peaceful Sydney afternoon, James and Julie Winton sat in their Highrise apartment overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
'Thank you mum, this is a great view' said Drew staring out the window. Julie walked over and hugged him and said 'Its OK sweety'
'I love...' the rest of Drew's sentence was cut off by a terrible, blood curdling, scream from below them.
'WAIT RIGHT HERE MUM!' ordered Drew as he raced to the door. He leapt the stairs two at a time, heart hammering in his chest. He finally reached the bottom step when he saw them. Two men in blue overalls and balaclavas were holding people hostage with Shotguns and another man was ordering money from the owner, also held at gun point. A small child ran up and kicked the man in the shins. The man glared at the kid and cocked his shotgun. Drew had to act now before any of them got shot.
'KURIBASU 20' yelled Drew. The powerful gust of wind drowned the mans screams of protest. He was blown back into the wall, narrowly missing the child.He hit the wall with a CRUNCH and slid down to floor, apparently unconsious. 'You'll pay for that kid' bellowed the other man, now pointing his gun at Drew.
'Kuribaso 60' called a girl pointing at the man. The man roared in pain as he burst into flames! The girl spun on the spot, and as she did, the fire which was breaking out on the man, grew hotter and hotter. The man asking for money spun around and loaded his gun as well. Drew took the girls hand and together they yelled 'KURIBASE 166'
.A white lightning bolt appeared out of thin air and struck the man through the chest. He too, collided with the wall on the other side of the room. Only difference between the three crumpled men, was that he was dead! The bolt had struck his heart.
'Lets get out of here' whispered Drew to Bree as the hugged each other joyfully. As they climbed the stairs back to Drew's room, they could hear the distinct muttering of the people in the lobby. Wether good or bad, Drew did not care, he just wanted to get back to his room.

They arrived at room 15 and toppled inside it. There smiles turned to shock as two men gagged and tied Julie up.
'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM' cried Drew as the men disapeared from the hotel!
