It Hurts

Barbara,

It hurts.

Where does it hurt?
Everywhere, nowhere....

What does it feel like?
It feels like things will never be the same again, it feels like the world has turned upside down.  It feels like I want to lay down and never get up.  It feels, lonely, deafeningly lonely...

When did it start?
Yesterday morning after the phone call.

Why does it hurt?
They said my very best friend was dying.

How?
They came in and found her slumped in the chair, by the time they got her to the hospital and scanned her brain most of the left side was swollen and full of blood.


She passed away later in the day.  I will miss my friend, it hurts....
