Escaping

Silence..no words no sound just us.
Memories flood my senses, overwhelm me.
Pain that keeps on cutting razor sharp like a knife..
Some how I feel nothing, as if immune from the world and all its broken promises.
Take a deep breath, close my eyes I take off like a bird I'm in flight nothing can touch me as I soar through the clouds.
Is this freedom, never knew what it was like to give up and give in consume myself in numbness and escape even shortly from my torments.
The faces and the voices of my world spin and collide intertwine into one large mass unknown to my senses..
My heart slows, my speech slurs and head rocks and twirls dizzying it's self in an instance..
Slowly I am overcome by calm and fearlessness as I settle in my own two feet again.
My brain floats back to earth and the hate that surrounds phases me no longer.
Silence.. no words no sounds just me and my friend who helps me escape.
Helps me be free from the pain that I feel when I wake up alive again.
In euphoric bliss my sweet heavenly kiss of sub-consciousness.
