When we look back on life and look where we lost out, it is important to move forward.
I can appreciate that we cannot,
turn back time for our satisfaction.
However how many times do you,
look at a picture and immediately imagine,
how things used to be when the picture,
was taken, how life was lived and,
how people we knew had yet to find,
themselves in positions they are in now.
The smiles on their faces were created,
by different people, and for different reasons.
Back then they all seemed as innocent as,
we were, unaware of what would become,
But we had time to act and simply refused.
So why should we moan when we lose?

Everyone has been given an equal chance,
with equal rewards at an equal distance.
It seems to all come down to a person’s strength,
and their stamina as they sustain to fight for,
the things and people they truly love. They
only want to gain as much as we do, similar
prizes for similar people. It seems unfair when
we have lost out, but it was when we turned
our backs that the defeat won. The race
track was always there from the start.
No changes have been made, only heart,
and instinct that can change our minds.
Weaker ones lose, but why should we complain
when we always knew the stakes to lose?

As the gun was fired nobody really knew,
how the race would end, who would win,
and who would lose. But the stronger ones
amongst us are truly deserving, even if life
seems hard to struggle through. Us losers
have to carry on, for a better cause and
another fight. There is a chance for us all,
and one day when we have one, the roles
will reverse. The losers will look and stare
into our souls, with hate and spite and possibly
jealousy too. Is it bad that they should lose
with bad states of mind? Or will they simply
move on, like we must now. To better each
individual, to one day become the winner.
