Egotistical self absorbed philosophical reasoning on the singularity of perspective.
What troubles the mind of a god?

I am god, creator of all matter
Instigator of all action
Fear my omnipotence
But fear more my ignorance
For what I do not know does not exist
And what I have forgotten,
Fades utterly into oblivion.

And if I shall end
As all things seem to do
This world, the universe, reality itself
Will cease as I do
And the ripples of my influence will erode
Under the faceless onslaught of time.

Woe is the great,
Which diminishes into nothing
Becoming indistinguishable
From all else which has become nothing
A dead god is an equal of a dead ant.

Yet pride leads me on
Fueled by that delusion and hope
That a god could be wrong
A cry of futility.

The sands are slipping by
Through desperate, clenching hands
The end is nigh.

Looking back now
At defeat and victories alike,

I smile as I sink into the cold abyss.
