what steampunk means to me

that's right folks I'm writing again and for this time I bring to you some free writing

steampunk is the term we put
to something that is kinda hard to describe
Verne meets Trek in this genre that I love

The Nautilus rises from the depths once more
While airships thrum by over heard
This is a new worlds powered by clockwork
With mechanical beasts that have boilers for bellies

Pirates pillage and plunder flying cities before returning to their floating boats
The world is ruled over by some queen or another
who wields their power with steam powered battle tanks of superior strength
Æther bikes buzz on by with riders of the most rebellious kind
those hellbent on destroying the monarchy

This is a world of wonderful things and ideas
but also full of danger and adventure
its a great world to visit a great world to be a part of
so why don't you come on and have a little fun
why don't you take a dive with me into the æther
come on with me be a guest aboard Aurora and we will see a world of wonder together
