Mornings Glow

The mornings Sun peaks through the trees.
It warms my body casting its rays on me.
Drying the dew that's fallen on the ground,
Warming the morning not making a sound.

The afternoon will soon turn humid and hot.
Then we will want a cool breeze to blow a lot.
Even a hard rain to dampen the Sun's rays.
Nature can cool the day many different ways.

The wind blows a cool breeze in the town.
Cooling the heat that is scattered around.
A great relief and delight has been brought.
I am relaxed and enjoying what I've sought.

My sweat is telling me it's growing hotter.
Notice I am now drinking a lot more water.
To replenish all the water my body is losing.
I'll be laying in the shade as I'm snoozing.
