Insanity is repetition expecting a different result

But how does one know if they are insane without insult

It is said people who are insane do not know

Could it be a simple matter of the mind being slow

Because if you think your insane then you are not

But then you believe your not insane which fills the insanity slot

Though again we find ourselves at the beginning

And not nearing the final inning

Could it be we stared into the abyss for to long

So long in fact that it is starring back and pulling us in like a lullaby song

Never could us sane people fall for such a thing

For being sane is to be insane which is to be sane and free of everything

Yet here we are still fighting off the chains

But how are we seeing such thanks as casual as we would rain

This is yet another bit of the mystery

As though we are apart of some insane history

However if the history is insane wouldn't it then be sane

I suppose then that would mean that the white walls of history are unmarked and plain

Maybe it is time to put this rambling to a halt
