Chocolate
Patrol
Searched
my bag looking for keys,
Couldn't
believe what I did see.
Chocolate
smeared windows, sticky door,
Tons
of wrappers covered the floor.
Music
blaring from my favourite band,
Shiny
sweet foils clutched in his hand.
Burping
and slurping whilst he ran,
Guzzling
the contents of my cola can.
As
I screamed for help, only to see,
Laces
of drool from my Christmas tree.
Thought
for a moment I was going insane,
For
there he was, eating a candy cane.
I
reached for a pan to whack him with,
He
gurgled at me, "Are you Mrs Smith?
Please
leave this house until we are done,
Eating
your chocolate and having fun.
Greedy
little humans seek too many sweets,
Found
the wrappers tucked under your seats.
Searched
the house, not one healthy snack,
Broke
the rules, so we're taking them back.
Now
let's fill our bellies until we are fat,
Trashing
the house and chasing the cat.
She
must learn, we're the chocolate trolls,
By
eating her sweets, we take control.
Too
much chocolate is bad for your teeth,
Taught
you a lesson and had a feast.
So
don't start a'screaming, losing control,
We've
been sent from the chocolate patrol".
Chewed
up jellies spat on the wall,
Saliva
filled shoes lined the hall.
Stared
in shock at what I could see,
Another
came in and looked at me.
Warted
face and a fat squidgy nose,
Stick-
like teeth with black hairy toes.
Short
green trousers filled with treats,
Stuffing
his face with all he could eat.
Tugged
my skirt, held out his hand,
"Come
with me for you don't understand".
Opened
the door, then shoved me out,
Clapped
his hands and began to shout.
"Way
hey hey, we're the chocolate trolls,
Living
underground in big chocolate holes".
