As I walk through the tall grass,
I am enveloped in the sweet scent of lilies and daisies,
And my eyes squint in the overwhelming sunlight,
I stride swiftly through the acres of flowers,
But the longer I walk, the more I begin to trudge,
As the mud squelches against my shoes,
And a rotten, putrid smell emerges from the plants.
As I look closer to try and discover the source, I notice
Thorns and nettles embedded underneath.
If I step on the flowers too heavily,
The thorns and nettles will be revealed.
