Mathew Chapter 5B- Day6
Jesus really utilized this teaching period. He corrected alot of laws from past prophets, which were what the sgibes and pharisees taught and declared that we will/must be Perfect like our Father is. And dare to be different.
The laws He corrected started with:
1. Murder- it goes beyond killing. Anger with your brother
2. Adultery- It goes beyond cheating in marriage to lusting.
3. Divorce- divorce is unacceptable except when there is sexual immorality.
4. Swearing- Avoid is completely and in all forms. But keep your word.
5. Vengeance- allow the evil person to do his worst.
6. Love- love both friends and enemies to be different from the rest.
