No frills or bells No fancy clothes
No rings on fingers or polish on toes,
Though my hair is all brushed
And my body is washed
My shape is a bit bumpy
And I often am frumpy
but,
Through God’s precious love
I don't have to be grumpy.
Whether all gussied up or just simple and plain
My heavenly father loves me all just the same
In the midst of the night when I’ve tossed and I’ve turned
In the bright awesome light of a mid summers day
When I’m sick and I’m tired He stills holds me near
In the garden all dirty or at church dressed just right
We are all perfect when we walk in his light.
