Celestial orbs perpetually revolve
round galactic center of radiant light.
Glowing masses through the atmosphere fall,
trail sparkling rooster tails through the twilight.
Clouds, like galleons, split the nighttime sky
a splash of gray on the inky background
and with a soundless sigh they float on by
sailing on toward their next battleground.
Stars incandescent in their empyreal domain
against velvety darkness of night
enraptured by the heavens, I remain
immersed in enchantedmoonlight.
Mesmerizing poets since times of yore,
mercurial queen of tide and sea.
None can withstand her romantic allure
as the world softens within her beams.
