To Augustus Mohammed Dejesus Caesar
He explained to the court his reasoning
The court threw out his frivolous request.

He began calling himself by his new name
And became an infamous bank robber
Known throughout the land as Augusta Caesar.
And ended up in prison along with his siblings
James Jones 1, 2, 3, and 4.


Loosely based on a true story. I knew a James Jones, the 5th, when I served as an intern with the San Joaquin probation department back in the 70s. He was the 5th son of Jessica Jones, a con artist who was serving time, who had four other children with different fathers. Each had become harden criminals by their late teens, and James Jones the 5th was heading down the same path. I took him to see the latest Star Wars movie, hoping that he would change his path. Never learned what happened to him. I hope that he had changed his ways.
