A poet was scribbling and wishing
to write his adventures with fishing
He reeled in a trout,
asked, “what’s that about?”
and discovered his muse had gone missing
May's husband was known as a cheater,
though he bragged that he never beat her.
She said "That's enough,
there'll be no more fluff.",
then left with a guy she called Skeeter.

I am reading a book full of laughter
it gets me through looming disasters.
While sometimes I'm sad
and can even get mad,
I'll continue to laugh ever after
