The valorous gentries of dovish perception
Excavate the earth…
A nightmarish devolving whiffles
A bludgeoning square
Against the verity of shapes.
Daytime precepts instill
A prominent decay of salvos -
And John’s equal the numerical measurements
Of vanquished valleys;
These same youth examine a togetherness
Of antiquated polishing
And sterile discourse;
And afternoons consist
Of an amazingly cognizant malice…

With a cherry on top,
We expunge the heartache;
The ice cream divulges
A delightful decadence -
A sweetness towering above the lettuce
And tomatoes;
The cold cuts aiming for a brioche
Or ciabatta which become doomed
By the mustard and bacon;
And real shakes provide a secular doubling
Of administered clarity.

People with adjuncts -
A pleasing fruit with whipped toppings
Neither applied to the world’s pleasure
Nor defunct from the flavorful fact;
A speaking magnet principled
Against the coffeehouse missions
Of freakish calamity
And rejected might…
