Moral and Resolution of the story

The general moral of the story is that, regardless of how peaceful or just a system believes itself to be, some people or cultures are overlooked or ignored. This story touches on that theme.

Crystal: The beings of the Insecta Hivemind and the Flora Collective are unable to communicate with the Galactic Council so the Council does not believe them to be sentient. They take the Insecta honey and the flora fruit. Until Crystal shows them how to communicate their intentions without words. Note:Flora Collective makes more sensne than the Vine collective.)

Sonny: The Rockers speak in tones too low for most species to register so the Galactic Council sees them as semi sentient and takes their spice out of the sand. Sonny teaches them how to domesticate the local wildlife to show the Council the Rockers' spice is not free.

Auburn: The Primes, sentient primates of Planet Primal, have a language no one bothered to make a translation program for so the Galactic Council assumed they were not sentient just because Primes work with nature instead of against it. Auburn teaches the Primes to turn the obsolete technology into advanced tech everyone in the Galactic council wants to buy.

Gale: The People of Second Earth were considered 'primitive' and ignored. Gale discovered that, like Earth, they had advanced technology they had simply forgotten and helped them to rise and be seen.

Luna: The people of the planet construct are too small to be seen and are overlooked. All they know are ancient robots protecting ancient temples. Luna shows them how they can use their robots that protect their world as diplomats to the Galactic Council.
