I never thought about writing as a career until the last ten years, before then it was like breathing, natural.
When a friend gave me a bunch of romance books, I decided I could write one. The people who read my first effort wanted me to finish, however, I wasn't serious and raising kids and work interfered, so my novel was eventually lost in one of many moves.
Now I am taking a course to help me break into print and enjoy writing both fiction and non-fiction.
