I'm a hippie, a geek, a mom, a closet writer (honestly, I write in a closet that is converted into an office), a Borg fighter. I will not be assimilated. I have always wanted to be a writer but I spent the first 30 years of my life convincing myself that a dyslexic couldn't write. I'm over that and now I write every day. I joined NaNoWriMo in 2015 to prove to myself that I could complete 50K words in one month and I did. Since then I have been looking for a long-term community of writers that will help me grow in my writing adventures. So far I have one manuscript in draft, many short stories, and tons of ideas.
